Como fazer cocada

Ingredientes :

4 xícaras de coco ralado fresco

4 xícaras de açúcar

4 xícaras de leite

manteiga (para untar)

Preparação :

Num recipiente, ralar o coco bastante grosso e reserve. Depois numa panela, ponha o leite com o açúcar leve ao lume médio e deixe dissolver o açúcar. Agora adicione o coco e deixe cozer sem deixar de mexer mais ao menos durante 25 a 30 minutos até ficar uma cocada mole. Vai notar que a cocada esta pronta quando começar a ficar dourada e cremosa.

Untar agora um prato com manteiga, espalhar a cocada, deixe esfriar e secar. Quando estiver bem seca, corte a cocada em pequenos pedaços.
